Healthcare SBC Launches Managed Interoperability Services
Healthcare SBC announced today the launch of its managed interoperability services, covering interface build and operation across hospitals, reference laboratories, imaging centres, pharmacies, health information exchanges, immunisation registries, clearinghouses and payers.
The service supports FHIR R4, HL7v2, CCDA and X12 EDI transactions, and is offered without per-interface fees, a charging model that has long made it expensive for practices to move their own data.
The launch reflects demand from practices facing information-blocking compliance requirements alongside the practical need to eliminate manual data entry from faxed results and referral packets.
Interfaces are monitored with automated alerting on message failures, queue backups and connectivity loss, and each client is assigned a named integration engineer accountable for uptime.
